About KAZE EXPO
BACKGROUND
KAZE EXPO 2025 will bring together tourism and travel trade partners from Burundi and all over the world to meet new clients, network, and discuss tourism business deals. Organized by the Visit Burundi, the expo will take place in Bujumbura from 12th to 17th August 2025, attracting over 100 hosted buyers, 200 exhibitors including tourism Boards, Corporate Companies, and over 5,000 trade visitors and consumers. KAZE EXPO 2025 activities will include physical Business to Business engagements between buyers, exhibitors, and tour operators, as well as Business to Consumer events such as the 2025 Thematic Seminars. Registration is open for Accommodation facilities, Tour Operators, Tourism Boards, Transport Companies, Insurance, Media/Press, Associations, and Travel Tech partners to participate in this flagship event in Burundi. The aim of KAZE EXPO 2025 is to position Burundi as a preferred destination in domestic, regional, and international source markets under the theme of “Responsible Tourism.” The expo, hosted at Eden Resort newly opened Conventional Bureau, is expected to attract over 70 hosted buyers, 300 exhibitors, including tourism Boards, Corporate Companies, and over 1000 trade visitors and consumers. KAZE EXPO 2025 will offer prescheduled engagements for generating business deals and networking opportunities, with carefully approved hosted buyers exploring Burundian’s unique tourism experiences.

The first business meeting for tourism stakeholders in Burundi
For four days, Bujumbura will be from August 8 to 11, 2025, the capital of tourism through the first edition of the Kaze Expo, the Bujumbura International Tourism Fair. A professional, public and commercial event of international scope in the heart of the Burundian capital which will welcome more than 1,500 participants from more than 20 countries.
The Kaze Expo will be an annual professional event dedicated to players from the entire tourism industry chain coming from Burundi, Africa, Europe, America and Asia to do business in the heart of the Burundian capital and boost their commercial visibility with an audience of more than 10,000 visitors expected per day.
